Chiricahua National Monument

A glorious couple of days and two beautiful hikes. The first day was a bit chilly her in southern Arizona - high of maybe 48 but today proved to be warmer and sunnier- high of 60. Great hiking weather.

Day one- Sugarloaf

A switchbacky vertical climb of about 3000ft. Much of it was snow covered and yes I stopped to put on my crampons!

Day two- longer hike 4 miles down into the canyon and back out south facing so much warmer- Echo Canyon- my favorite hike in this park.
